San Juan Islands

Pictures from the ferry heading out to Friday Harbor. The pictures of the water and marina is the view from dinner. We didn't get a picture of it, but the sun was setting, the sky turned blue and there was a rainbow. It was absolutely gorgeous!!!

Tulip Festival

This past weekend, we visited Mount Vernon WA, Home of the Tulip Festival. Tulips are my favorite flower, so this was something I had to do. The festival lasts the whole month of April and it is pretty spectacular to see Tulip Farmswhere there are just fields and fields of brightly colored tulips! Amazing! After seeing the tulips, we drove to Anacortes, hopped on a car ferry, went out to the San Juan Islands and had dinner in Friday Harbor. Such a cool experience. We were really hoping to see some Orca Whales, but they decided to stay below the water. Oh well, maybe next time.
